Forged out of 80CRV2 and 15N20, these full tang hunters are meant to perform exceptionally and look good while doing it. The three models here are in black richlite with copper and G10 pins, green paper with copper and G10 liners and bronze pins and the ultralight Hunter, named for both its translucent qualities of the Opal, ruby red and jade green G10s used and and it’s reduced weight in its thin S-ground blade and tapered backbone spine, leaving a cutout at the belly of the handle for an Opal frame to let some extra light through the materials.
I went with a solid contrast etch for the black Richlite handled one but with the other two I decided a higher polished, low contrast, high luster finish complimented the handle material choices more.
