This is a top tool shape I came up with to use while isolating the material for forging integrals, but really it’s a pretty handy shape for many operations.
it’s a 20° taper 2” long, 1” at the fat end and 3/8” on the other and 1.5” wide. Hardened and tempered 4140 with a nice flexy twisted 22” handle to help negate those misaligned power hammmer blows that can happen.
can use it as a tapered step tool or on its points as a fuller. Can also use it as a fuller with a hand hammer, but I’d recommend using an unhardened hammer to strike with.
