This blade is forged out of 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steels. The handle and saya are crafted out of African Blackwood. The habaki is sterling silver and the saya is lined with basswood. The tapered pin is stainless and allows for the knife to be disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. The blade should be clean and oiled before
being put back into the saya, with the blade being high carbon steel being trapped with moisture or even fingerprints will brew trouble. But simple enough, a little tlc, a little mineral or camellia oil and everything will be great! Also just to make sure there’s no confusion, I know there are pictures of 3 knives together, the price is for one knife.
